On Sunday 12th May both the ladies and men's teams will be in action at home.
Save the date in your diaries for a Gin and Beer Festival at the Clubhouse on Saturday 15th June.
It'll be a laugh a minute and an unmissable event - Saturday 14th September.

We will be holding a social/tennis event on the middle Saturday of Wimbledon and would be delighted if you wanted to bring a friend (or friends) down to join you.

There will be an opportunity to make your own pizza and of course we will be serving Pimms and strawberries and cream.
We look forward to seeing you then.

Good Luck everyone
It's the first Tuesday of the month on the 2nd April and that can only mean one thing at Queensgate Tennis Club. It's our regular friendly, American Social Tournament with the popular scrabble theme.
We've had some great winners with this theme so please do pop down and enjoy the evening of sociable tennis.
Just £3 will cover the flood lights, balls, a free drink at the bar with some nibbles and a prize for the winning scrabble word.
Cardio Tennis is on every Friday from 6.30pm -7.30pm at Bramhall Queensgate Tennis Club.
It is a fun, social group tennis- fitness program suitable for all ages and abilities. It involves a higher calorie burn, endless activities and social workouts which will leave you feeling great and in shape. Open to all club members.
£6 per week pay as you go.
We would like to invite you to join us for a sociable, wine tasting evening at the clubhouse on Saturday 30th March 2019 from 7.30pm.
You will taste 6 wines including a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, learn all about the wines, their country of origin, the grape varieties, how to taste wine like a professional, whether a cork or screw cap is better and lots more besides. Light nibbles will also be provided.
Tickets at £25 per person are available from the Committee or contact Clare Hinton (07403 112946) or Rob Chambers (07496 526672).
The event is being run with The Bubbly Wine Company.
Kids tennis club night is on every Friday during the school term. There are plenty of fun tennis games so everyone can join in, have fun and improve their game.
The tuck shop is also open to grab a quick drink and a snack.
Starts at 4.30pm.
Those that attended the AGM of the Queensgate Sports Club (QSC) will know that it was agreed that the QSC should be working towards being financially self-sufficient so that any spare funds the Tennis, Bowls and Snooker sections have can be plowed back into, in our case, the sinking fund for replacement courts. To enable this, we need to increase the lettings income. Mike Sarginson has already volunteered to take on the initial enquires, actual bookings and maintenance of an online calendar (which is fabulous news!) until someone else comes forward as this is a job that needs doing immediately if we are to advertise the clubhouse to potential hirers! If anyone feels they could take this job on, please let us know by emailing or phoning the number below.
Rob Chambers and Mike Sarginson already look after the bar stock and Bob Pigeon will be dealing with the financial arrangements for the lettings.
We are also looking for several people to volunteer on a rota system to fulfil the following jobs:
1) volunteers to unlock the clubhouse and possibly set up the main hall with tables (if required) when events are taking place
2) volunteers to put any tables away the following morning that have been used at the event together with doing a check for damage.
3) volunteers to run the bar for evening events. This is a paid role and would suit anyone over the age of 18.
If you think you could be available to help by giving up some time, on a rota basis, please email Bob Pigeon - firstname.lastname@example.org -07843 573975
Don't forget you can also help by making your friends, family, colleagues aware of the venue, whether it's for a special birthday, children's party, works do, bridge drive, or classes of any kind. And ...if you hire it yourself, members get a very good discount @ £15 per hour! Non-members £25 per hour

You may have noticed the beautiful tennis-themed colour co-ordinated painting we now have in the tennis pavilion. This is an original piece of artwork painted specifically for Bramhall Queensgate Tennis Club by Sarah Dale who is the daughter of Alan Cowley, who has sadly passed away but was a stalwart member of the club and Men’s 1st team player for many years.
Sarah wished to create and donate the artwork to the club in memory of her father and because she has very fond memories of playing at the club herself in her younger days.
I think you'll all agree that it is a great and colourful addition to the tennis pavilion and we have expressed our grateful thanks on to Sarah.
