About Bramhall Queensgate Tennis Club
Social Tennis
Social tennis plays an important part at our club. We run fun social tennis sessions (men's/ladies'/mixed doubles) on Tuesday evenings from 7-9 pm and on Saturday afternoons from 2-4 pm. These are a great way to meet other members, enjoy a game of tennis and then retire to the clubhouse to enjoy a drink and socialise.
Beginners
If you are new to tennis or just haven't played for a while, you can enjoy free tips from the coaches and organised play at our Improver sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7.30-8.30 pm. When you feel ready, you can join in with the social tennis sessions on Tues/Sat.
Coaching
Bramhall Queensgate Tennis Club are fortunate to have had Darren O'Donnell as our Head Coach for the last 19 years. He leads a team of experienced and LTA qualified coaches, with clear enhanced DBS checks, and together they are dedicated to helping you improve your game. From beginners to advanced players, individuals or groups, we have a coach who can help you reach your goals.
Juniors/Summer Camps/Students
Juniors are well catered for with Club Night for 5-16 yr olds every Friday from 4.30-5.30 pm in term time. Fun games are organised for all ages with experienced coaches. We also have a number of junior teams in the local league. Holiday summer camps are scheduled for w/c 27 Jul and 10 Aug. For older children living away from home at University, we have a very special membership rate to encourage them to pay tennis when they are at home.
Teams
We have 3 Men's and 3 Ladies' teams competing in Divisions 1-7 in the North East Cheshire League and 1 Men's team in the South Manchester League Div 4. We also have 5 Winter League mixed teams.
Match practices take place on Monday nights (Ladies) and Thursday nights (Mens) between Oct-Mar.
Walking Tennis
This is a fun and eminently sociable activity run by the coaches on Mondays from 1.30-2.30 pm for anyone who wants to play tennis but at their own pace, using special balls which can bounce twice. It is ideal for those who are no longer as fit as they would like to be or who are returning from injury or rehabilitation. Each session is followed by tea and cake in the clubhouse.

Our Facilities
Our fabulous facilities include 6 outdoor courts, 3 artificial clay and 3 astroturf, all with LED floodlighting for all year round play. A lovely clubhouse with comfortable tennis pavilion looking over the courts, kitchen, bar, car park and function room which is available to hire.
